Dress Your Deck for Success with Trex

Trex railing with Deck lightingImagine… There are two distinguished gentlemen standing side-by-side. Both are wearing dark blue suits and similar-looking ties. Yet, you know immediately one looks better than the other. You can't put your finger on it. The suits, to your layperson's eye, look the same. The gentlemen are equally distinguished. What's the difference?

The difference is that one of them is wearing a suit from one of the preeminent tailors of London's Savile Row, and the other is wearing a suit from ___________, a local chain menswear store.

And, if I were a betting man, I'd say that you'd be able to tell 99 times out of a 100 which is which, even if you don't know a thing about men's suits or tailoring. The same thing happens when you look at a Mercedes, BMW or Cadillac. You can just tell!

The same thing happens when you look at a professionally built deck made of Trex.

The difference is in the quality of the materials and the craftsmanship with which it has all been put together—in short, the attention to detail. You may not know why one looks better but you can always tell.

We bring this philosophy to every deck we build. This is made easier when we are building with Trex decking, railing, and lighting materials. Our attention to detail in the construction is matched with Trex's attention to detail in their manufacturing; they have high quality innovative materials and products that work seamlessly together to create a decking solution you will enjoy every time you step onto it—not unlike the way you may feel every time you put on your best suit or get into your BMW or Mercedes. It makes you feel good, and you know you look good even if others can't tell you why.

Here are some of the features we incorporate into our Trex deck solutions—the features that add up to that special difference.

Here you can see a variety of ways that Trex integrates the lighting: flush with the decking and integrated into the deck posts.

Trex's outdoor storage solutions add a practical element to your deck without taking away from your decks aesthetics.

And this is what it looks like when it's all put together. This Trex deck by us…

You maybe won't know why it looks better. But you'll think it does. So dress your deck for success!

That's all for now, until next time, we'll Keep Building it Right!

A word from Rosario…

Our Blog is about sharing some of what we have learned along the way. (Many contractors even call us for ideas or advice.) We hope it is informative and shows our commitment to continuous learning—something we do so we can bring the very latest and best to our customers.

You've probably heard the phrase:

"Some people have twenty-five years of experience. Others have one year of experience, twenty-five times over."

If a contractor doesn't stay up-to-date on the latest building codes, trends, styles, tools, materials, and products, they'll soon find themselves in the latter category. We work hard to make sure that we are not. We regularly talk with our suppliers, go to industry trade shows, and share information and ideas with our peers to make sure that we stay on top of our game and can continue to bring you the very best in building craftsmanship and knowledge.

I welcome the opportunity to chat with you about your next building project.

Regards,
